13真的是一个不靠谱的数字吗？

江浙一带操吴语的人们，对“十三点”一词再熟悉不过，简直到了张口就来的程度；

在西方世界，因为“最后的晚餐”有13人等缘故，13成为充满神秘色彩的禁忌数字，很多高楼没有13层，代之以12A。

那么，中国人用“十三点”骂人，西方人忌讳13号，原因一样吗？

答案当然是否定的。中国人以“十三点”指代呆头呆脑、傻得可爱，其实源自“乱敲钟”。众所周知，钟表上只有12个数字，13点？分明就是搞不清楚状况啦。

西方人忌讳13，最重要的原因是“耶稣和十二门徒”，是出于宗教信仰产生的心理阴影。再加上传说中耶稣于星期五被钉子上十字架，于是乎“13号星期五”就成了西方人特别是美国人特别忌讳的日子。

至于网络时代流行开的“装13”，大家都懂的。

那么，13真的是一个不靠谱的数字吗？真的很可怕吗？

倒也未必。首先，13号若作为生日是无法选择也无法回避的。放眼古今中外，13日出生的名人何其多，在某一领域达到高潮走向巅峰的大牛不胜枚举，其中最牛的是凯撒，服不服？

其次，13虽然在教世界人缘不好，但在佛教世界却是个人见人爱的大吉数，佛教传入中国宗派为十三宗，代表功德圆满；汉地佛教有十三经；藏传佛教圣地布达拉宫有13层，等等。在中国，13还是帝王数，象征权力。

数学世界里，13也是个特殊的存在，它是奇数，也是质数，而且是幸运质数（因为是数学学渣，实在解释不清13为什么幸运，有兴趣的同学们自行学习吧）。

其实，大多数的禁忌源自内心。就像中国人更忌讳住在18楼，而从不关心“黑色星期五”一样，13本身是无辜的。
